Community Charter & Policy

The simple rules that keep the community good for everyone.

Our principles

Be respectful to everyone, to the people of Siwa and to the oasis.

Be honest: give us accurate details and use your membership truthfully.

Keep events safe and welcoming, especially around children. No harassment or discrimination.

Member offers and events

Member offers at ZIWA Café and Aghurmi Hotel are shared by our team, may change, and depend on availability.

Offers are personal, can't be transferred, and can't be combined unless we say so.

Event invitations explain places, registration and any rules. We'll tell you beforehand if photos or filming are planned.

The members' WhatsApp group

Members are added using the WhatsApp number they gave us, and other members can see their name and number.

Any member can share their own updates and news. Keep it relevant, kind and respectful. No spam, and no selling without the team's permission.

You can leave the group, and the community, at any time.

Your data

We collect what you give us: name, WhatsApp number, email, and your answers about Siwa and your interests. We record when you agreed to this charter and which version.

We use it to review your application, run the community, and send ZIWA invitations and updates by WhatsApp or email.

We never sell it. Only the ZIWA team and the services that help us send messages can see it.

To opt out, correct your details or delete your membership, reply to any community email or message us on WhatsApp.

Reviews and ending membership

The ZIWA team reviews every application and tells you the decision by email. We may decline, and you're welcome to apply again.

ZIWA may suspend or end a membership if these principles aren't respected or offers are misused. If we change this charter, we'll update this page and tell members.
