At ZIWA Land, your privacy is a core principle — not a checkbox. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and your rights as an owner, investor, or visitor. We believe trust is built through transparency.

1. Who We Are

ZIWA Land is operated by Aghurmi Group, a company engaged in agricultural land development and investment in Siwa Oasis, Egypt. Our registered operations cover the ZIWA Land platform at ziwaland.com, the ZIWA 360 owner portal, and all related communications and services.

2. What Data We Collect

Account & Identity Data

Full name, email address, phone number, home address, and national ID (for contract verification only). This is required to create your ZIWA owner account and maintain your legal ownership records.

Investment & Financial Data

Plot purchase details, installment payment records, wallet balances, and transaction history. This data is linked to your land contract and is processed solely for financial management and reporting purposes.

Farm & Agricultural Data

Zone configurations, crop selections, farm log entries, service requests, and stage progress updates. This data powers your owner dashboard and is used by ZIWA's operations team to manage your farm.

Usage & Session Data

IP address, browser type, pages visited, session duration, and authentication tokens. We use this to secure your account, troubleshoot issues, and improve the platform experience.

Communications

Messages you send via the contact form, support requests, and any email correspondence with our team. These are retained to provide continuity of service.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To create and manage your ZIWA owner account and portal access
  • To process and record land purchase payments and installment schedules
  • To deliver farm management services and provide updates on your plot
  • To send you important announcements, quarterly reports, and harvest notifications
  • To comply with Egyptian legal requirements for land registration and financial reporting
  • To improve the ZIWA 360 platform and resolve technical issues
  • To protect the security and integrity of the platform and prevent fraud

4. Data Security

Your data is stored in a secured Supabase PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS infrastructure in the EU West region. All connections are encrypted using TLS/SSL. Passwords are never stored — authentication uses secure session tokens with SHA-256 hashing and automatic expiry.

Access to your financial and personal data is restricted to authorized ZIWA staff only. No third party has access to your data without your explicit consent, except where required by Egyptian law or for essential service providers (e.g., cloud hosting).

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data for advertising.

  • ZIWA operations staff strictly for farm management and service delivery
  • Legal authorities only when required by Egyptian law or a valid legal order

As a ZIWA member, you have the right to:

Update or correct inaccurate data via your profile settings

Request account deletion (subject to legal land ownership records)

Receive your financial records in a structured format on request

Object to any non-essential processing of your data

7. Cookies & Tracking

ZIWA 360 uses a single, essential session cookie (ziwa_session) to maintain your logged-in state. This cookie is strictly necessary for the platform to function and does not track you across other websites.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers, or behavioral analytics without your knowledge.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your ZIWA account is active, or as required by Egyptian land registration and financial record-keeping law (minimum 7 years). Session data is automatically deleted after 30 days of inactivity.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect platform improvements or regulatory changes. We will notify all registered users by email when material changes occur. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the most current version.
